Associate is responsible for pulling dye batch records and calculating formulas for each dye set and boil out that is scheduled in the dye house. Associate will be responsible for reviewing shade on each set that is dyed and approve or disapprove sets before releasing them to finishing. Associate will evaluate shade by comparing swatches to a master both visually and with a Datacolor spectrophotometer unit.
Associate must be safety oriented and work effectively with other team members in the dye service department. Associate will receive Level 2 pay upon completion of training and certification. Associate is also responsible for doing any other tasks assigned by department manager.
Associate must be an independent thinker capable of making decisions given the information available to them. Computer skills are a necessity.
