Duties: Under the general direction of the Transfer and Real Water Section Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for complex duties associated with performing real water determination to ensure a water transfer and Healthy River and Landscape (HRL) program facilitated by DWR State Water Project (SWP) would not result in injury to legal water users, calculation of water budget, coordination with other DWR divisions and federal/local agencies on.

It is desirable that the incumbent have experience and/or knowledge in technical engineering documentation, contract development and administration, environmental and regulatory requirements, and the State Water Project. Additional desirable expertise includes California water rights and water code, water accounting and invoicing, database development, GIS applications, engineering modeling assumptions and results, as well as tool development and data processing.
