- For all the projects in which design for quality is applied to ensure that the 10 Quality Fundamentals in Design for Quality, Safety and Reliability are completed (i.e. CTQs, Mission Profile, P-diagram, DFMEA, FTAs, Robust V&V, Field Reliability, ...) - Helping create the customer mission profile - Identifying critical to quality (CTQ) characteristics - Assembling P-diagrams for critical design parameters - Creating Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) documents - Developing Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) for the highest severity failure modes - Launching safer and more reliable products
- You will report to the Quality Director This role is an onsite position. You are required to report to the Lancaster, NY facility 5 days a week.
- Bachelor's in engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering preferred - 5+ years of product development engineering experience - Experience in cooling, HVAC, or related industries as familiarity with datacenter cooling and heat transfer is beneficial - Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, quality, 8D problem solving, fishbone diagram, etc. to identify potential faults.
