Full job description

This position typically starts at $16 per hour and works a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays. Team members begin accruing PTO starting on day one, and full - time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days.

This role puts you right in the heart of the casino's behind-the-scenes action, moving drop devices from the gaming floor and teaming up with coworkers to tackle daily counts for everything from tables to jackpots. You'll get hands-on with sorting and recording cash totals, investigating quirky discrepancies, and keeping the count room running smoothly and efficiently.

It's a job where you stay active, solve real problems, support your team, and help keep the entire casino operation humming-never a dull moment.

- Must be able to obtain a Missouri Gaming License and pass a background check.

- Communicates effectively and maintains positive working relationships with guests, coworkers, and management.

- Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.

- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform, with slip resistant shoes. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.

- Ability to work in a loud, fast - paced environment while handling multiple tasks under time constraints.

- Must have a team mentality with the ability to motivate and influence others to adopt the same team philosophy. - Must have manual dexterity to open small locks, grip as well as remove and replace slot boxes while maintaining a fast pace to meet time constraints. - Mathematical ability in being able to add, subtract and utilize 10-key calculator to generate count cards. - Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull in order to complete drops and counts in a timely manner. - Must be able to carry above and below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs up to 60 feet while performing the slot drop. - Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, for up to ten hours per day. - Can tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust. - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. - Must be able to maintain a safe working environment while being able to maneuver equipment in high traffic areas. - Be able to respond to visual and aural cues. - Must be able to maintain a fast pace under stressful conditions. - Must be able to work for prolonged periods of time in a secure area while under surveillance. - Should possess problem solving ability in being able to communicate with multiple departments to create a more efficient work environment

- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in a clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a positive, ready - to - learn attitude.

- Greets guests and team members warmly and professionally, supporting our Family Style Service culture.

- Works a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

- Transfers drop devices from casino floor to the count rooms. - Performs and monitors team members in the daily count of drops such as Table, BV, Blind, NRT, and Bad-Beat drops. - Sorts, counts, straps, and records the results of daily counts in accordance to departmental and regulatory policies. - Compares and contrasts totals from physical count to those entered in the computer as well as the numbers recorded on currency counters. - Prepares reports recording any discrepancies from the computer totals to the actual physical totals.

Investigates any variances and notifies count room management as to the outcome. - Notifies count room management of malfunctioning equipment. Also, documents and communicates any equipment issues to assist the vendor in providing technical support. - Responsible for the general upkeep of the count room (promotes waste management and recycling whenever possible). - Maintains an ethical work habit in adhering to regulatory, departmental, and company policies as well as ensures others follow those standards. - Provides feedback to the management team as to the day-to-day performance of fellow co-workers. - Performs duties as assigned by the Count Room management team
