Job Description

The Senior Analyst – Finance Workspace Transformation will support Finance’s transformation from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace and related AI-enabled ways of working. This Level 7 individual contributor role reports to the Senior Manager, Transformation Management Office, and operates as a key member of the Finance transformation leadership pod.

This role will focus on building and maintaining the Finance inventory of end-user computing and collaboration assets, developing data-driven insights, and coordinating day-to-day execution of the transformation plan. The Senior Analyst will partner closely with Finance tower leaders, process and control owners, and IT counterparts to turn the strategy into a clear backlog, wave plan, and actionable work for delivery teams.

The Senior Analyst will help ensure that close, forecast, reporting, controls, and business continuity are protected while Finance shifts to Google tools, automation, and AI — emphasizing rationalization and redesign where needed, not just file migration.

What You'll Do

Roadmap and strategy - Help drive the Finance workspace transformation roadmap, aligned to the Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace transition and AI-enabled ways of working, in partnership with the business and IT transformation leads.

Inventory and prioritization - Own and maintain the Finance inventory of Microsoft 365 end-user computing and collaboration assets, and use a criticality and complexity rubric to recommend disposition and future state solutions.

Execution and governance - Coordinate day-to-day execution with Finance leads, IT, Google and partner teams to deliver pilots and waves on time, ensuring ownership, prerequisites, risks, and decisions are clearly documented and escalated when needed.

Controls and continuity - Monitor how workspace changes may affect close, reporting, and controls; flag timing or control risks early and support preparation of decision materials for leadership and governance forums.

Measurement and continuous improvement - Help define and maintain a Finance transformation scorecard focused on risk reduction and business outcomes, analyze results from pilots and waves, and recommend improvements to patterns, backlog, and operating mechanisms.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) Education and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance, Finance systems, business analysis, or technology-enabled process improvement; experience supporting large-scale platform or tools migrations preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Technical and solution awareness:

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tools used in Finance (for example, spreadsheet, collaboration, and workflow solutions), and comfort learning how they are configured and used.
  • Familiarity with or strong interest in Google Workspace productivity and collaboration tools, with a willingness to build deeper expertise as Finance transitions from Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to quickly understand how existing digital tools support Finance processes and to document key dependencies, risks, and transition considerations.
  • Finance process and controls awareness:

  • Understanding of core Finance processes such as period close, management reporting, planning and forecasting, reconciliations, tax, treasury, or regulatory reporting.
  • Awareness of SOX, internal controls over financial reporting, and data classification concepts, with the ability to follow established control requirements in day-to-day work.
  • Ability to recognize when proposed changes could impact controls, timing of close, or data quality and to raise concerns promptly.
Relocation: This role is NOT eligible for relocation benefits.
