Welder (Renewables)

Job Summary:**

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking experienced Welders to join our Renewables division. This role involves performing high-quality welding on various materials and structures primarily within solar, wind, and battery storage projects.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Perform welding duties using various processes (e.g., SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW) on a range of materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding procedure specifications (WPS).

* Operate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.

* Inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws and ensure adherence to specifications.

* Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and fitting.

* Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.

* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations.

* Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools.

* May be required to work at various heights and in confined spaces.

* Travel to project sites as required.

Job Qualifications:**

* High School Diploma or GED required.

* Minimum of 1- 3 years of verifiable welding experience in industrial or construction environments, preferably with exposure to renewables projects.

* Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW).

* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.

* Demonstrated ability to perform quality welds in various positions.

* Successful completion of a welding certification (e.g., AWS D1.1) is preferred.

* Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures in a construction environment.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

* Must be able to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.

* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
