Full job description

we are looking for team-focused managers who are passionate about fresh food, quality, and people. As a Produce Department Manager, you will oversee daily produce operations, ensure high standards for freshness and presentation, and drive sales through strong merchandising and inventory control. This role offers a fast - paced, hands - on environment where your leadership directly impacts customer trust and department performance.

Main r esponsibilities :

Oversee daily operations of the Produce Department with a focus on freshness, quality, and customer service

Deliver knowledgeable, friendly service and ensure associates demonstrate strong product knowledge

-

Execute corporate merchandising programs, planograms, seasonal sets, and promotional displays

-

Maintain full, fresh, clean, and visually appealing produce displays at all times

-

Manage product rotation, remove damaged or unsellable items, and maintain freshness standards

-

Order, receive, inspect, and store product following food safety and rotation guidelines

-

Manage shrink through inventory controls, root - cause identification, and waste - reduction strategies

-

Build and manage labor schedules aligned with business needs

-

Train, coach, and develop produce associates while maintaining a positive team environment

-

Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, safety, and company operational standards

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

Store systems and inventory tools
Abilities:

Ability to review sales, shrink, and inventory data to drive results

Ability to train and develop associates

Ability to lift, move, and stack product and work in coolers and refrigerated environments
