Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Verify identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation before allowing entry or directing individuals to designated areas.
Monitor access points, gates, and incoming and outgoing traffic; maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and access-related records.
Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalating matters as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
