  • Key Skills and Knowledge:
  • EMC/Dell storage administration experience within the past five years.
  • IBM Mainframe systems programming and administration experience within the past five years.
  • Strong experience with DT storage.
  • DLM experience is required.
  • Required

Qualifications:

  • Performs daily mainframe storage operations using z/OS tools to optimize SMS/DASD utilization, verify HSM/DLM health and space, audit volumes/datasets across both plexes, and submit CRs/incidents as needed to maintain reliability.
  • Produces required compliance/capacity reporting (SCRT/SMF), verifies reclaim/housekeeping automation, and completes operational work such as disk initialization, tape consolidations, and maintenance of core storage software (DLM, Solutions Enabler, GDDR, TapeCopy, Unisphere).
  • Executes DR activation/teardown activities, coordinates Dell hardware patching/upgrades, and monitors PowerMax/DLM/Data Domain health and certificates at both Eagan and San Mateo. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
