Full job description

Essential Functions - Perform nerve conduction and EMG studies as directed by the supervising physician. - Recognize and troubleshoot physiological and technical artifacts to ensure accurate results. - Prepare, maintain, and restock instruments, equipment, and exam room supplies. - Assist physicians during examinations and procedures. - Calculate, record, and report nerve conduction values precisely. - Act as a liaison between patients and providers, addressing questions and concerns with empathy. - Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. - Ensure equipment quality and readiness, following all safety and operational standards. - Retrieve and organize test results for physician review and follow-up.

Requirements: - High school diploma/GED required; completion of a Neurodiagnostic Technology program preferred. - Minimum 1 year of experience performing EMG and nerve conduction studies in a healthcare or clinical setting. - Solid knowledge of EMG procedures, patient care, HIPAA, and medical record processes. - Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Professional, compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients and medical staff. - Ability to perform independently with minimal supervision. - Flexibility to travel between clinic locations as needed.
