Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, data infrastructure areas, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and authorized entry procedures while maintaining accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding observed conditions, incidents, and operational needs.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
