Job Description Ops Training Specialist II Make an Impact Through Learning and Development As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team in the Rochester, New York area, you'll do meaningful work that makes a positive impact on a global scale.

The Opportunity As a Ops Training Specialist II, you will develop and deliver learning solutions that support our employees, operations, and commitment to quality.

Partnering with business leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams, you will identify learning needs and create effective training experiences using a variety of approaches, including instructor-led training, eLearning, on-the-job learning, and virtual delivery.

Your work will have a direct impact on employee development, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and ultimately the customers who depend on Thermo Fisher Scientific.

What You'll Do In this role, you will: Develop, update, and maintain engaging training materials and learning programs. Conduct training needs assessments and identify opportunities to close knowledge and skill gaps.

Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and on-the-job training for employees. Support Learning Management System (LMS) administration, training assignments, records, and reporting.

Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to develop effective learning solutions. Monitor training metrics and use data and feedback to improve program effectiveness.

Help maintain training compliance within a regulated environment. Apply adult learning and instructional design principles to create practical and engaging learning experiences.

Manage multiple training initiatives and projects while balancing priorities and deadlines. Collaborate across functions to continuously improve training processes and employee development.

Work flexible hours when needed to support business and global operational requirements.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus at least 2 years of experience in training, learning and development, instructional design, or a related area.

Experience developing and delivering instructor-led and/or virtual training. Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS). Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong organizational and project management capabilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with employees, subject matter experts, and leaders across functions.

Detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment. Preferred

Qualifications: Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or another regulated industry.

Education or experience in Education, Instructional Design, Life Sciences, Business, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, or a related field.

Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. Familiarity with eLearning development tools such as Articulate or Camtasia.

Knowledge of GMP, GDP, or other applicable regulatory requirements. Training, instructional design, or learning and development certifications.

Experience using training metrics, learner feedback, and performance data to drive continuous improvement. Location, Work Authorization & Pre-Employment Requirements Please review the following requirements before applying: Relocation: Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $55,000.00-$89,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
