Experience: 5+ years
We are looking for a Senior HR Generalist who thrives at the intersection of people, process, and systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating great employee experiences while also digging into the operational details that make an effective People function run smoothly.
Reporting to the Director of People Operations, you will own critical areas of HR operations across our distributed workforce, including employee lifecycle management, HRIS optimization, leave administration, multi-state compliance, reporting, and employee support. You will have the opportunity to improve processes, strengthen our HR infrastructure, and partner with employees and managers throughout the organization.
If you are someone who loves solving problems, improving systems, and making an impact through both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, this role is for you.
You will manage key moments across the employee journey, ensuring employees have a consistent, compliant, and positive experience from onboarding through offboarding.
- Own end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding. - Administer performance management cycles through Lattice, ensuring successful execution and supporting managers throughout the process. - Identify opportunities to improve employee lifecycle processes and create scalable solutions. - Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR practices align with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
You will be a frontline resource for employees and managers, providing thoughtful guidance while helping leaders navigate people-related challenges.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, leaves, and workplace matters. - Partner with managers to provide guidance on HR best practices, performance conversations, and employee concerns. - Support engagement and culture initiatives, including employee recognition, celebrations, surveys, and learning programs. - Approach employee support with empathy, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
You will be the subject matter expert responsible for ensuring compliance across our multi-state workforce.
- Manage leave administration programs, including FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD, Workers' Compensation, Colorado FAMLI, and other state-mandated leave programs. - Guide employees through leave processes, documentation requirements, and return-to-work plans. - Coordinate with insurance carriers, vendors, and state agencies as needed. - Monitor evolving federal, state, and local employment regulations and help ensure company compliance.
You will play a key role in improving the systems and processes that enable our People team to scale effectively.
- Serve as the primary administrator for our HRIS, ensuring system accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity. - Audit HR workflows, identify process gaps, and implement improvements. - Partner with Paylocity support to troubleshoot issues and optimize system capabilities. - Build and analyze HR reports and metrics, including headcount, turnover, leave utilization, and other workforce insights. - Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and create more efficient ways of working.
As the primary onsite representative of the People team, you will help create a welcoming and effective workplace experience.
- Serve as the onsite People team presence during core business hours. - Support our upcoming office relocation by coordinating logistics, vendors, and workplace transition activities. - Manage day-to-day workplace operations, including vendor relationships, supplies, and office needs. - Partner with Talent Acquisition to create an exceptional onsite candidate experience.
We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable supporting people and improving processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and enjoys owning problems from identification through resolution.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both our employees and our People operations. You will have ownership over important HR programs, the ability to improve systems and processes, and the opportunity to help shape how our People function scales.
If you enjoy combining thoughtful employee support with operational excellence, we'd love to hear from you.
