Overview

Under supervision of Alicia Kinoshita, this position is intended to provided mentored advanced training to enhance professional skills and research independence in the Post Doc's academic discipline.

Responsibilities Core Responsibilities 95%

The postdoctoral research scientist's responsibilities include assisting in:

  • data collection
  • management
  • analysis and dissemination
  • conducting highly specialized and advanced experiments
  • designing research protocols
  • summarizing research findings
  • mentoring undergraduate/graduate students
  • preparing manuscripts
  • attending conferences and presenting at conferences.
Other Duties as Assigned 5% Qualifications Minimum Education
  • A doctoral degree in an appropriate field
  • 0-5 years of relevant experience

  • Candidate must reside in California and live within a commutable distance from SDSU at time of hire.

The starting salary range for this position is $5858.67 per month depending upon qualifications and is non-negotiable.
