- Own revenue-related account reconciliations (deferred revenue, accounts receivable, unbilled revenue) and the monthly and quarterly close for revenue.

- Partner with Sales, Legal, and Product to review new contract structures and ensure appropriate revenue treatment.

- Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual revenue and billing work as volume scales.

- Lead technical accounting research and memo preparation for new or complex revenue arrangements.

- Partner closely with Controller on implementation of a new ERP for multiple entity structure.

- Prior experience managing or mentoring staff, or readiness to take on people management as the team grows.

- Solid working knowledge of ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition best practices.

- Hands-on experience with Salesforce (or a similar CRM/CPQ) and its interplay with billing and revenue systems.

- Experience in system implementations, SQL, databasis and revenue systems.

- Comfort organizing and working across databases, with the ability to query, reconcile, and troubleshoot data across systems.

- A track record of scaling billing processes and systems to support company growth.

- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, Engineering, and external auditors.

- Fund accounting experience is a plus.
