The Opportunity Abbott is seeking a Vendor Master Junior Data Analyst to join our team in Abbott Park, Illinois. In this role, you will help maintain accurate supplier master data across multiple systems, support internal business partners, and ensure data integrity that enables critical business operations across Abbott's North America organizations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical, detail-oriented professional looking to build expertise in master data management and enterprise systems. What You'll Work On Create, update, and maintain supplier master data across multiple applications while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with governance standards.

Adhere to SOX controls, internal policies, and established procedures related to master data management. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to validate supplier information and support fraud prevention efforts. Serve as a resource for business partners by responding to inquiries and providing timely updates on data-related requests.

Develop expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and related systems to support users and resolve issues. Analyze supplier data requests and evaluate downstream impacts across interconnected systems and processes. Prioritize and manage a high volume of requests while meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and quality expectations.

Support operational excellence by identifying opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency. Partner with local and global teams on projects, initiatives, and ad hoc assignments as needed. Contribute to a collaborative team environment while building subject matter expertise in supplier master data management.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate information and make sound decisions.

Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering quality service.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team environment. Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. Experience supporting vendor management, supplier data, master data, finance, procurement, supply chain, or related business functions. Experience working with SAP, SAP MDG, or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Knowledge of data governance principles and master data management best practices. Familiarity with compliance and control requirements, including SOX-related processes. Experience working in a shared services or large, matrixed organization.

Track record of identifying and implementing process improvements. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment.
