Operations Analysis Systems Engineer (Engineer or Principal Engineer Level)

This role can be filled at either the Engineer level or Principal Engineer level based on the qualifications below.

- Systems Engineer : Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 2 years of experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline.

- Principal Systems Engineer : Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 5 years of experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of experience OR a PhD in a STEM discipline with 1 year of experience

- Must have an active US Government Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.

- Familiarity in various aspects of advanced air and space assets and associated technologies to include:

- Low Observables - Electronic Warfare - Radar Modeling/Analysis - RF/IR/EO/Acoustic Modeling/Analysis - Survivability Analysis - Countermeasures - Operations - Sensor Payloads - Ground Station

- Ability to work both independent and in a team in a fast-paced environment, and brief technical approach and status to senior management - Familiarity with Linux and/or Unix-based development. - Knowledge of domain-specific radar principles, including signal processing, target acquisition, target tracking, resource management, discrimination, and battle manager interfaces. - Experience related to with air vehicle sensors (RF, EO/IR, radar, ESM, SAR, etc.), data processing/fusion, data links, navigation, or vehicle control - Experience in MATLAB, Python, C#, or C/C++ or other advanced programming languages - Familiarity in USAF modeling and simulations tools such as AFSIM, Suppressor, ESAMS, STK or other engagement or mission level models

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
