About the Team: The Walmart Item Orchestrator team comprises skilled engineers dedicated to building a high-performance platform that handles millions of queries per second across billions of items. Leveraging technologies like Java, Rust, Kafka, Cassandra, and Kubernetes, the team develops scalable, low-latency systems.
Focused on collaboration and innovation, members deliver resilient, efficient features aligned with Walmart’s platform and business objectives. The team applies strong technical expertise and best practices, continuously enhancing solutions through iterative development and knowledge sharing to ensure reliable, high-quality software that meets rigorous performance standards.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area. Option 2: 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
