The The Hub Associate is responsible for unloading and sorting in our cross-dock facility. This includes receiving inbound freight from linehaul trucks, classifying freight, and palletizing freight.
- Scan packages to confirm receipt - Move packages from pallets to assigned scan location - Inspect packaging for defects and damages - Follow company safety guidelines - Keep warehouse clean and organized
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be able to pass and/or obtain all reporting, testing, and certifications as required for this position and location. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Warehouse experience preferred - Forklift certification or ability to obtain one - Ability to use a scanner - Proficiency in inventory software, database, and systems - Good organizational and time management skills
