Full job description

Our work is looking for a Dashboard Developer to help us support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). At GDIT, people are our differentiator.

As a Dashboard Developer you will be trusted to work with meaningful data, highlighting fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) detected in the Medicare and Medicaid programs.

In this role, a typical day will include: Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards that provide meaningful insights using Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms Collaborating with data analysts, data scientists as well as managers to collect requirements, understand needs, and convert into visualizations Converting raw data into compelling dashboards that enable efficient decision making Maintaining and updating existing dashboards as needed, and train end users on how best to interact with them Performing quality checks on visualizations for data accuracy Presenting monthly visualizations at large meetings Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science (or related field of study) 3-5 years of related experience Must have familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid programs Working knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, or Tableau (or similar dashboard platforms) Working knowledge of SQL, understanding of data modeling, and experience working with large datasets Ability to create data visualizations to present complex analyses and to illustrate trends Knowledge of best practices for dashboard design, including accessibility and usability standards Familiarity with R or Python Familiarity with HTML and JavaScript Ability to obtain a Public trust and must have lived in the US for 3 of the past 5 years Desired Skills: Strong working knowledge of best practices for dashboard design, including accessibility and usability standards Strong working knowledge of Python or SQL Strong working knowledge of Databricks and Snowflake Strong working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical team members Be a self-starter with a natural curiosity to understand, simplify and explain complex data #GDITHealth #healthcarefraud #fwa The likely salary range for this position is $85,093 - $115,000.

GDIT typically provides new employees with 15 days of paid leave per calendar year to be used for vacations, personal business, and illness and an additional 10 paid holidays per year.

Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee's date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
