Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.

Caterpillar is looking for a Solutions Architect Representative to join our Customer Solutions Core Region (CSCR) division!

About Customer Solutions Core Regions Division The Customer Solutions Core Regions Division is committed to solving customer challenges that extend beyond purchasing machines and parts. This team, alongside dealers, will engage more closely with customers, to create, customize and adapt solutions to meet their needs by leveraging the extensive range of offerings available today across products and services, digital and technology, rental and used, and financing.

- Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, services, digital, sales, dealer, and regional teams to ensure solutions are technically viable, commercially sound, and operationally deliverable.

- Outcome Driven Problem Solving: Analyze complex, ambiguous problem spaces and translate requirements into structured solution architectures that focus on measurable outcomes rather than individual components.

- Solution Enablement & Scaling: Support the development of solution frameworks, playbooks, and enablement materials to drive consistent adoption and repeatability across regions and teams.

- Stakeholder Influence: Communicate solution concepts clearly to diverse audiences, influencing decisions and alignment without formal authority.

- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the evolution of solution offerings by incorporating feedback, lessons learned, and emerging capabilities into future designs.

Customer Focus : Working knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

Service Excellence: Extensive knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.

Effective Communications: Extensive experience and understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Strategic Thinking: Working Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

Relationship Management: Working knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent years of professional, job-related experience.

- Previous work experience with Caterpillar dealers in the Sales, Operations, or Marketing space.

- Previously demonstrated experience in a staff role that required management of multiple projects and senior leadership report-outs.

- Working knowledge of dealer or distribution networks, including collaboration with sales, service, and channel partners.

- Locations for this position are in Peoria, IL, Cary, NC, or Irving, TX
