Full job description

- Work collaboratively across electrical, optical, fluid, and process engineering fields to design and sustain diagnostics and life sciences instruments and technology. - Design and analyze mechanical systems to achieve product specifications. - Develop and maintain projects through product conception, definition, design, documentation, release to production, and sustainment. - Create and present project financial, timeline and technical reports to peers and management.

- BS in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5+ years OR a Master's degree with 3+ years or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform at this level. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including tolerance analysis. - Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. - Strong CAD skills (SOLIDWORKS), GD&T, and documentation.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

- Mechanical systems design, build, and test experience in machine automation, robotics, liquid handling, fluidics, or laboratory instrumentation - Understanding of Product Development Process, Life Cycles Management, and Manufacturing. - Proven experience in Simulation and timing analysis

The annual salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $100 - $120K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
