WI Commercial Searcher (Remote)

- Performs a wide range of title research requiring considerable judgment, independent analysis and detailed knowledge. Documents all research

- Conducts title research to compile search packages covering a wide range of complexity.

- Investigates and interprets tax records in order to determine tax liability.

- Work is similar to that performed by intermediate level, but handles more complex, less routine or escalated transactions, based on level of experience and competency.

- No formal supervisory responsibility but may be a resource to less experienced team members

- Typically exercises judgment within defined policies and procedures over a broad area

- Resolves escalated issues from team members; may escalate issues to more experienced team members/manager

- Strong investigative, research, and problem solving skills

- Knowledge of company terminology, search department procedures and tools.
