Director of Government Investigations

HPE is seeking a seasoned legal professional to lead our internal investigations team and manage government investigations related to our Standards of Business Conduct. This key leadership role reports to the Vice President of Investigations within the Ethics & Compliance Office and offers the opportunity to influence global compliance initiatives.

This is an office based role located in either Washington, DC or King of Prussia, PA.

- Lead complex internal and external investigations into allegations of misconduct.

- Provide strategic legal guidance on government investigations.

- Collaborate with internal teams and outside counsel to resolve legal issues.

- Prepare detailed investigation reports for executive review and law enforcement.

- Travel regionally and internationally as needed (should be no more than 10-15%).

- JD or LLB, with 10+ years of legal experience, ideally from a top law firm (AMLA 100 or equivalent), government, or in-house legal team.

- Proven expertise in managing investigations, particularly in ethics, compliance, and government contexts (Justice Department, SEC experience preferred).

- Strong judgment, independence, and ability to handle complex, high-pressure situations.

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. - United States of America: Annual Salary USD 161,000 - 389,500 in District of Columbia & Pennsylvania The listed salary range reflects base salary.

Variable incentives may also be offered.
