We are seeking a visionary Director of Product Line Management to lead the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of our next-generation wireless infrastructure portfolio. This executive-level leader will be responsible for driving portfolio growth, market leadership, and platform innovation across multiple product generations within a rapidly evolving enterprise networking landscape.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of managing complex hardware product portfolios, preferably in enterprise WLAN, networking, or adjacent infrastructure markets. They combine strong business acumen with deep technical credibility and possess the ability to balance customer requirements, market dynamics, engineering execution, and financial objectives to deliver differentiated products and sustained business growth.

This role requires an independent thinker who thrives in a highly collaborative environment and can influence cross-functional teams spanning engineering, sales, marketing, operations, finance, and executive leadership.

- Define and execute the long-term strategy, vision, and roadmap for a portfolio of enterprise wireless infrastructure solutions. - Drive portfolio planning and investment decisions based on market trends, customer needs, competitive analysis, and business objectives. - Identify and prioritize growth opportunities, platform innovations, adjacent market expansions, and technology investments. - Lead product lifecycle management from concept through end-of-life across multiple product generations.

- Develop a deep understanding of enterprise networking, wireless technologies, customer use cases, and industry trends. - Engage directly with customers, partners, analysts, and industry influencers to gather insights and validate product strategies. - Represent the wireless portfolio at executive customer engagements, industry events, and strategic planning sessions. - Translate customer requirements into actionable product strategies and platform investments.

- Partner closely with engineering teams to define product requirements, business cases, and development priorities. - Ensure successful execution of product roadmaps by balancing innovation, customer commitments, technical feasibility, and financial outcomes. - Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to support product launches, revenue growth, and market adoption. - Influence decision-making across multiple organizations to achieve portfolio objectives.

- Develop business cases, pricing strategies, revenue forecasts, and investment plans for the product portfolio. - Monitor portfolio performance, market share, profitability, and customer adoption metrics. - Drive portfolio optimization decisions to maximize business outcomes and long-term competitive advantage. - Support annual planning processes, strategic reviews, and executive-level business updates.

- Mentor and develop Product Managers and Product Line Managers within the organization. - Foster a culture of customer-centricity, innovation, accountability, and operational excellence. - Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on wireless market trends, competitive positioning, and investment priorities.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. - 12+ years of progressive product management or product line management experience. - 5+ years of leadership experience managing product managers or cross-functional product teams. - Proven experience managing complex hardware-based product portfolios within:

- Enterprise WLAN - Networking infrastructure - Cloud-managed networking - Campus and branch networking - Adjacent infrastructure technology markets

- Demonstrated success bringing networking products from concept through launch and lifecycle management. - Strong understanding of wireless networking technologies, enterprise infrastructure, and networking architectures. - Experience developing product roadmaps and aligning cross-functional teams around strategic priorities. - Outstanding communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- MBA or advanced technical degree. - Experience with enterprise Wi-Fi, wireless access points, controllers, network management platforms, or cloud-managed networking solutions. - Understanding of campus networking, switching, routing, network security, and AI-driven network operations. - Experience operating within a global technology organization. - Strong financial acumen with experience building business cases, forecasting revenue, and managing product investments.

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. - United States of America: Annual Salary USD 204,000 - 434,000 in California The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered."
