Manufacturing Engineer - 3rd Shift

This Manufacturing Engineer will establish internal processes that safely ensures the production of high-quality products that meet compliance and project requirements. Drive continuous improvement across the product lines by driving lean initiatives, resolving technical/process issues, and improving cycle & cost. Third shift will be from 10:30pm-7:30am Sunday through Thursday.

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Work closely with Lean Line MEs through partnership and thorough handovers with first shift Ensuring troubleshooting on off shift to keep Lean Lines running quality product at customer required rate Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting, and support for machinists Work with Operations Leader to drive 5-whys, problem solving, operational rigor, and execution of standard work Maintain and improve process documentation to ensure consistent quality Support improvement efforts for across the cell for visual management, tooling, plant equipment, and safety/ergonomic solutions Work with Line ME to develop & update work instructions & procedures to support operator training and process control Support product qualifications as needed Manage projects and continuous improvement efforts in accordance with plant metrics Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Ability to work 3rd shift (10:30pm -7:30am) Sunday through Thursday Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 2 years of experience in Manufacturing OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing Desired Characteristics Self-Motivated, strong interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to influence others and lead small teams Experience with CNC Programming, CMM reporting, fixture troubleshooting and hydraulics Ability to use micrometers and calipers for set ups and trouble shooting Proven ability to pro-actively improve processes Strong time and project management skills Comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles Ability to help drive lean initiatives Strong oral and written communication skills Analytical problem-solving skills Proven analytical and organizational ability Experience and knowledge of gas turbine components To comply with US immigration and other legal requirements, it is necessary to specify the minimum number of years' experience required for any role based within the USA.

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
