Full job description

For customer equipment, facilities or infrastructure projects, the Lead Project Manager is responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline.

Functions with some autonomy and is guided by established policies and procedures.

- Responsible for oversight of assigned projects and direct or indirect leadership of project resources for small to medium sized projects that may include equipment-only, product suite, or non-turnkey projects. - Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute work. - Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. - Uses technical experience and analytical thinking.

Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions. - Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Leads projects with low to moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains information; develops skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.

Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college - Minimum three (3) years of experience in the power industry or in project management

- Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% domestically to GE Vernova and customer locations. - This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

- Nuclear power industry experience - Strong oral and written communication skills - Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems - Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs - Project management skills - PMP Certification a plus

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $100,000.00 and $166,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
