Associate Production SQL Server DBA with Secret Clearance (MD DC VA Remote)

Must be local to Maryland, DC, and Virginia Areas-currently remote, but within commuting distance of DC.

ICF's IT Modernization division is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven department, seeking a motivated SQL Server DBA to support the upcoming needs of our federal customers.

- Install database scripts and software applications on both database and web application servers

- Ability to analyze and define database and security requirements

- Develop database queries and apply patches in the test and patch environment

- Coordinate with Testers and Test Leads for backup, rollback, and recovery plans

- Perform health checks for Windows servers and SQL DBs, and troubleshoot abnormalities.

- Configure and maintain DB maintenance plans for DB backup and recovery.

- Configure and maintain Always On Availability Group (AAG).

- Configure, maintain and support databases in an enterprise operations environment per application instructions or requirements

- Interface with the production support team and software developers to resolve daily database issues

- Troubleshoot issues stemming from a wide range of errors including problematic database scripts, IIS configuration, Windows application errors, etc.

- Conduct code reviews as well as testing of installation scripts and deployment guides

- Ability to work in a team environment supporting various groups and user types

- Ability to communicate complex ideas verbally and in a written format

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar discipline.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is : $74,090.00 - $125,954.00
