Job Description
Reporting to Security Leadrship, Experian is looking for a Security Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders bridging the gap between priorities and securtiy risks. You will help align security strategy with priorities, product development, regulatory expectations, and evolving cyber risk. You will bridge the business and the Global Security Office, guiding risk decisions, strengthening controls, and ensuring secure growth.
You'll have opportunity to:
- Partner with BU leaders, Security Champions, technology teams, and governance partners to translate priorities into practical security and risk decisions.
- Lead project security assessments, rapid risk reviews, risk acceptances, deviations, and remediation planning for new products, enterprise changes, and special programs.
- Maintain a clear view of BU security risk, control health, metrics, dashboards, OKR's, and SLO's. Escalate or guide action where risk requires attention.
- Advise on secure data exchange, regulatory and control obligations, security assessments, M&A integration, and major programs in a regulated environment.
- Communicate threats, incidents, policy changes, and business-specific security requirements to leadership using a threat-informed, business-aligned approach.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, governance workflows, and security partner engagement models across the business.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in information security, security risk assessment, audit, compliance, technology risk, or related fields.
- Experience with cybersecurity risk management, control frameworks, and governance practices, including ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL, COBIT, and risk lifecycle methodologies.
- Working knowledge of regulated financial services, FinTech, privacy, and security obligations such as GDPR, CCPA, FFIEC, PCI, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and breach notification requirements.
- Knowledge across application security, vulnerability management, cloud security, incident response, secure software development, Agile delivery, AI/GenAI risk, and latest technologies.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Relevant Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCSP, or CIPP
