Senior Front-end Engineer, AI

Responsibilities

- Drive the cultural and technical shift toward AI-augmented engineering, empowering peers to work smarter and ship faster. - Transform development patterns and deliver new experiences to users by employing AI tools - Translate new browser technologies into real value for users - Work with modern Web technologies such as Web Components to create portable, reusable UI - Work with research and other engineering teams to integrate and refine AI and LLM experiences - Help shape architectural and product design details when tasks or specifications are open-ended - Collaborate with teammates across all functional disciplines to ensure quality in all phases of development - Write beautiful, self-documenting code that others can easily read and adapt - Write and review engineering documents, review design specs and participate in regular code reviews

- A bachelor's degree (or masters) in Computer Science or equivalent - 8+ years of experience developing modern Web applications, with strong programming fundamentals - Experience building large, performance-conscious, interactive web applications - Experience with TypeScript - Experience with Generative AI and LLMs - Experience with AI Coding Tools - Experience working with large, modular products and codebases

Expected Pay Range: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $159,200 -- $301,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
