Cook - Scarpetta - The Cosmopolitan

We're seeking a passionate Cook with strong culinary fundamentals, an appreciation for Italian cuisine, and experience with from-scratch cooking, including fresh pasta.

In this role, you'll skillfully apply culinary techniques, deliver exceptional quality and genuine hospitality, and create memorable WOW dining experiences that guests will remember long after their visit.

THE STARTING RATE: $23.6747 USD Hourly THE DAY-TO-DAY: Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques Identify and safely use kitchen equipment Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups Work as a team, assist all guests needs and inquiries THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Must be at least 18 years of age 2+ years of prior relevant experience as a Cook in a professional kitchen preferred Pasta-making experience is a plus, including fresh pasta preparation Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment Must be available to work an on-call schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs THE PERKS &
