Full job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED 1. Assembles medical products on an assembly operation, performing a variety of tasks on a rotating basis. 2.

Ability to rotate through the assembly line. 3.

Performs on-line and in-process visual inspection of products to ensure specifications per work order and procedure are followed. 4. Assists Team Leader and Technicians with product and/or machine change-overs.

5.

Ensures product assembled meets quality standards. 6. Rejects product outside of specifications.

7. Adheres to safety standards. 8.

May operate a variety of testing equipment required for periodic product and process testing. 9.

Working overtime may be required for this position. 10. Performs other related tasks, as required.

MINIMUM

QUALIFICATIONS - Must be able to read, write and speak English, Spanish or meet local language requirement. - Demonstrates competencies and ability to rotate in a specific assembly line or work cell. - Ability to perform a variety of assembly tasks requiring dexterity and fine motor skills. - Ability to visually check work performed and identify whether a product has been assembled correctly. - Ability to follow instructions in performing repetitive tasks. - Attentiveness in performing tasks. - Ability to work as a member of a team in assembling sterile medical products. - Ability to meet line rate expectations.

PREFFERED

QUALIFICATIONS - Three months of experience, preferably in manufacturing. - Three to six months of longevity in the same company. - At the Corporate site, if the position is on a Spanish-language line, it is preferred that the individual be Spanish speaking or bilingual (English/Spanish).
