State and Local Government - Consultant or Senior Consultant - New York City, NY

What You Will Do: Guidehouse is seeking a Consultant or a Senior Consultant to support the firm's engagements with NYC. The State and Local Government practice serves clients in the areas of business design, organizational strategy, program strategy, implementation of large programs, market analysis, financial modeling, operational analysis, process improvement, change management, technology strategy and transformation, compliance monitoring, program management, and reporting.

What You Will Need: Bachelor's degree from an accredited University Minimum of 1+ (ONE) years of overall work experience for a consultant and Minimum of 3+ (THREE) years overall work experience for a senior consultant, ideally consulting experience or experience in related field Critical thinking to solve problems and develop innovative solutions to client's management and operational challenges Must currently reside within New York City metropolitan area Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to travel to client locations, GH Office locations as needed to support client engagements within and outside of the New York City market No sponsorship is available for this position What Would Be Nice To Have: Familiarity with New York City Government practices Strong professional network and/or experience in state and local government in New York City Experience managing challenging projects and serving clients Experience facilitating meetings and public speaking with large groups Management consulting skills such as project management, financial modeling, operational modeling, and stakeholder management #LI-DNI The annual salary range for this position is $81,000.00-$135,000.00.
