Software Engineer Principal - Data Factory, API

As a Software Engineer Principal within PNC's Lending Tech organization, you will be based in Austin, TX, Dallas, TX, Pittsburgh, PA or Phoenix, AZ.

Preferred Skills: - BPMN model tool like JBPM or CAMUNDA - JSON schema, XSD, XML and web services (RESTful and SOAP) - Experience with building swagger for APIs. - Experience with writing test cases using SOAPUI and Postman. - Experience building Data factory pipelines.

Job Description - Leads the analytics processes across multiple functions or business units leveraging an array of complex analytical tools to create data driven solutions. Serves as mentor to more junior employees. - Define, develop, and maintain API for decision services. - Work with business and technology teams to define signature for API using Swagger open API spec. - Improve query performances with Hadoop and optimize for data visualization. - Establish data feature stores from both structured and unstructured and expose them as API. - Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation, and enhancements. - Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solution for operations and executive management to enable data driven decision making. - Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.

- Aligns business strategy with software solutions. - Proposes, designs & codes software solutions to address complex business needs. Oversees technical and procedural documentation required. - Leads complex problem solving. - Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development. - Displays an innovative approach to apply modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
