Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager I to lead initiatives within the Data Governance and Automation space. This role is responsible for managing projects from initial concept through implementation and post-project assessment, ensuring business objectives are achieved within established timelines and budgets. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to drive delivery of technology solutions that improve data management, governance, automation, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage technology projects within the Data Governance and Automation space from initiation through implementation and post-project assessment.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, assign project tasks, and monitor execution to achieve project objectives.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders across multiple lines of business to build strong working relationships and drive project success.
  • Track project progress, manage risks and dependencies, and provide regular status reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver project documentation, presentations, and project updates.
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication of project expectations, priorities, and outcomes.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within established timelines, scope, and budget parameters.
  • Support initiatives focused on data governance, data management, process improvement, and automation. ​
  • Typical project size may reach or exceed $500,000 in budget or business value.
  • Required Qualifications

  • University / college degree with < 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • Strong project coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.
  • Understanding of data governance principles, data quality, metadata management, or regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with process automation technologies and workflow optimization.
  • Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams.​
