As a Communications Lead within PNC's Corporate Communications organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Washington D.C., or Chicago, IL.
The Brand Communications Lead is responsible for developing and driving the communications strategy, including earned media and integrated paid communications campaigns that support PNC's national brand expansion and Brilliantly Boring philosophy.
This role oversees communications tied to national sports and entertainment sponsorships, and brand campaigns, ensuring all work is aligned to enterprise priorities and reinforces PNC's market position.
Working across PNC's 300-person Marketing and Communications organization, this manager partners closely with brand, marketing, sponsorships, media relations, executive communications, social, internal communications, external partners, and agency teams to deliver integrated communications plans and campaigns that engage critical internal and external audiences, increase national brand awareness and strengthen PNC's reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Executes communications strategies that help drive business priorities. - Supports the development of communication strategies; plans, researches and develops content for complex communications initiatives. - Identifies issues and opportunities, and engages other parts of the organization to ensure strategic alignment, clarity, and accuracy of the message. - Ensures data collected is synthesized and leveraged effectively to provide appropriate insights. - Implements and oversees activities, including approval requirements in coordination with legal, compliance, finance, risk and other key partners.
Supports partnership with agencies, third parties and internal business partners to coordinate the development and execution of programs/initiatives.
