Rotary Die Cutter (United) Assistant Operator

We are looking for motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a 2 nd shift position, paying $26.99/hour + $0.25/hour shift differential . Plus a sign on bonus of up to $1000 !

Two years of work experience in a manufacturing environment with at least one year with the same employer preferred. Specific responsibilities include:

- Ensuring safe operations at all times

- Perform set up functions such as removing and attaching cutting dies, zeroing and opening / closing the machine; raising, auto setting, and lowering the pre-feeder, setting the stacker and counter-ejector portions of the machine, recovering ink and washing ink filters, installing inks, cleaning, setting, and adjusting the glue application system, and completing necessary paperwork.

- Must have ability to learn KIWI and QMS operating systems and run a quality product. Learn customer requirements and specifications by reading work orders, print cards, and design specifications.

- Continually monitoring the quality and quantity of production.

- Constant standing, walking, frequent twisting, bending, and lifting from the ground; occasional reaching and crouching. Repetitive lifting up to 20 pounds; frequent lifting up to 40 pounds.

- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

You will also be assigned to clean-up functions such as:

- Blowing down the machine

- Cleaning ink systems

- Vacuuming

- Sweeping the machine area

- Picking up scrap and general housekeeping
