Part-Time Instructor, Clinical - Pediatrics

- Teach assigned courses and be available to students during the contract period

- Prepare course syllabi, course outlines (if necessary) and related instructional materials

- Participate in orientation and faculty meetings as requested

- Promote college educational programs and services to the communities served by WNC

- Master's Degree or Master's in progress. NOTE: Employment for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree (BSN) is contingent on approval by the Nevada Board of Nursing. Approval will be sought by Western Nevada College

- One or more years of experience working on a Pediatric or Obstetrical unit

- Experience with distance education/web-teaching modalities

This is a part-time, temporary/seasonal position. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis to establish an applicant pool. As vacancies occur, they are filled from the pool.

This position is primarily based on our Carson campus but may have some work periodically on our Fallon and Douglas campuses.
