Our summer internships are full-time ( 40 hours /week), paid positions lasting 10- 11 weeks .

As a Supply Chain or Supply Management Intern, you'll gain exposure to key supply chain functions, work alongside experienced leaders, and contribute to projects that support critical business objectives . Through hands-on experience, you'll develop valuable skills, expand your network, and make a real impact on the organization.
- I ntegrates demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics , and continuous improvement to drive cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, resiliency, and service performance across Medtronic's global business units.
- P lans, sources, manufactures, and distributes medical technologies worldwide, ensuring high-quality products reach hospitals, clinicians, and patients safely, reliably, and on time.
- I dentifies , selects, and manages suppliers to ensure a reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality supply of materials, components, and services that support patient therapies worldwide.
- D rives supplier performance, mitigates supply risks, ensures regulatory and quality compliance, and delivers cost savings through contract management, supplier development, and strategic procurement initiatives.
The majority of internship positions are based at primary hubs in Minnesota with additional opportunities available in Colorado, Connecticut, Tennessee, and Texas. Candidate location preferences are strongly considered during the interview and offer process; however, flexibility increases the number of potential opportunities available.
All interns must reside in the U.S. for the duration of the internship.

To be considered for a Summer 2027 Supply Chain/Supply Management internship, your resume must clearly demonstrate how you meet each of these basic requirements.
- Working toward a bachelor's in Supply Chain Management or a related major with an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2027, Spring 2028, Winter 2028, or Spring 2029 .
- Ability to participate full time, 40 hours per week, as part of the intern cohort from June 1-August 1 3 for semester system programs or June 1 4 -August 2 0 for quarter system programs.
- Applicants for Medtronic's Summer Internship Program must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Medtronic does not sponsor work authorization for internship positions. - Prior project work in a team environment with defined deliverables
- Experience creating documentation, project summaries, or Supply Chain presentations.
