Full job description

As a Digital Assurance & Transparency - IT Audit Senior Associate, you will focus on providing assurance services over clients' digital environments, including processes and controls, cybersecurity measures, data and AI systems, and their associated governance. Within our Assurance practice, you will help organizations and their stakeholders build trust in their technology while complying with relevant regulations.

As a Senior Associate, you will develop meaningful client connections, anticipate needs, and embrace increased ambiguity. You will leverage your skills to analyze complex concepts and interpret feedback, guiding and mentoring others to maintain professional and technical standards.

In this role at PwC, you will be responsible for evaluating compliance with regulations, including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls. You will use a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, enhancing your personal brand and technical skills. By understanding the broader objectives of your projects, you will contribute to the overall strategy and deliver quality work.

Responsibilities - Conducting IT audits to evaluate internal controls and compliance with regulations - Analyzing complex digital environments to identify potential risks and areas for improvement - Collaborating with clients to understand their digital assurance needs and provide tailored solutions - Utilizing auditing methodologies and IT governance frameworks to enhance audit processes - Implementing cybersecurity risk management strategies to protect client data and systems - Assessing data quality and validation processes to support accurate reporting and decision-making - Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to foster trust and collaboration - Mentoring junior team members to build their skills and understanding of audit practices - Interpreting data to generate insights and recommendations for clients - Upholding professional and technical standards in line with firm guidelines and industry regulations

What You Must Have - At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 2 years of experience - Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

What Sets You Apart - Preference for a Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting - At least one of the following: Current pursuit of or an active CPA or CISA license - Utilizing auditing methodologies to enhance client service engagements - Demonstrating analytical thinking in complex problem-solving scenarios - Leveraging cloud engineering skills for innovative solutions - Applying cybersecurity governance to manage risk effectively - Excelling in data quality assurance testing for accurate insights

The salary range for this position is: $72,000 - $184,440. For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $72,000 - $212,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
