Duties and Responsibilities People: Create a positive team member experience. Communicates and coordinates with Firm stakeholders in Finance and other areas. Client: Supports data requests and provides requested information to support external audits.
Value: Analyzes accounts and processes journal entries for assigned areas. Prepares account and bank reconciliations. Processes foreign entity accounting transactions.
Compiles and analyzes financial information to document business transactions and prepare entries to accounts. Coordinates, prepares and provides data to support statutory financial statement audits. Monitors compliance with GAAP and Firm procedures.
Performs variance analysis and reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial transactions. Recommends improvements in accounting processes and systems to promote efficiency and internal control. Prepares other general ledger reconciliation schedules as needed.
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university, and two to four years related experience and/or training in a similar environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research and experience using various ERP accounting systems. Workday Finance experience is a plus. Certificates and Licenses: CPA or future CPA candidate preferred.
Supervisory
Responsibilities: The position is an individual contributor role. It requires limited supervisory responsibilities related to training employees and reviewing word product for accuracy and completeness. Work Environment: Standard indoor working environment.
Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer. Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm, clients, and interface with external vendors as necessary.
