Job Title: Senior Director, Revenue Cycle - Patient Accounting Department: Health System Shared Services | Financial Administration Scope of Position The Senior Director of Revenue Cycle provides executive leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for the WMC and OSUP Revenue Cycle and Patient Financial Services functions.

This position is accountable for ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-performing revenue cycle operations that support financial sustainability, growth strategy, and patient experience. The role partners closely with OSUP and OSUWMC leadership to deliver a seamless "one face" experience to patients and serves as a reliable partner in driving the success of Community Connect programs through aligned workflows, consistent performance standards, and shared financial objectives.

Position Summary The Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Services is responsible and accountable for the strategic planning, leadership, and continuous quality and process improvement of Patient Financial Services operations. This role oversees all aspects of physician billing, hospital billing, collections, cash applications, and single billing office.

This position is critical to the organizations' financial performance, ensuring strong cash flow, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and high levels of patient and provider satisfaction. The Senior Director drives economies of scale, optimizes revenue cycle performance, and ensures integration between OSUP and OSUWMC revenue cycle operations.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree Twelve (12) or more years of progressive revenue cycle leadership experience in a large, complex healthcare or academic medical center. Extensive knowledge of revenue cycle operations, regulatory requirements, and billing practices. Experience overseeing a large patient financial services operation.

Strong understanding of clinical operations and their impact on revenue cycle performance. Proven experience in an EPIC revenue cycle environment strongly preferred. HFMA certification preferred.
