As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Duty in Herndon, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.

This role blends customer service, communication, and attention to detail in a team-driven environment that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a corporate office location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and report conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized access while maintaining professional interactions with staff and guests.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership with routine reporting, communication of policy reminders, and follow-up on security-related procedures relevant to a technology-focused workplace.

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD TS-SCI clearance.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
