Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns to appropriate site contacts.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

How This Role Works:
- Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
- Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
