Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and school personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate school personnel and emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns to designated personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
