Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting school personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
