Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate school personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with maintaining orderly entry and departure procedures, and report suspicious persons, conditions, and policy violations.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with site leadership and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred.
Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
