Job Description As a Senior Industrial Designer, you will leverage your creativity, technical expertise, and product design experience to develop innovative, market-leading products from concept through production.

This role is responsible for designing cycling and snow sports products including helmets, goggles, eyewear, footwear, and other product categories.

Working cross-functionally with Product Development, Product Line Management, and Manufacturing partners, you will create compelling consumer-focused solutions that balance aesthetics, innovation, functionality, comfort, performance, and manufacturability while supporting business objectives and timelines.

This position reports to the Sr. Design Manager and is based in our Irvine, CA office. As the Sr.

Industrial Designer, you will: Lead the industrial design execution of products from concept through commercialization.

Create innovative product solutions that address user needs, market opportunities, and brand objectives. Design products with consideration for aesthetics, functionality, ergonomics, usability, comfort, and performance.

Develop and evolve Giro's visual design language while maintaining brand consistency. Create sketches, renderings, CAD concepts, and presentation materials that communicate design intent.

Produce complete technical design packages including specifications, colorways, materials, and manufacturing requirements. Partner closely with Product Development and Manufacturing teams to ensure products meet cost, quality, margin, and timeline targets.

Research consumer trends, competitive products, emerging technologies, and market opportunities. Stay current on manufacturing innovations through vendor engagement, industry events, and trade shows.

Design products that comply with applicable certification and safety standards. Support product commercialization through technical package revisions, redlines, and collaboration with development partners.

Present concepts and recommendations to internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams. You have: 5+ years of industrial design experience focused on technical consumer products.

Strong understanding of product development processes, manufacturing methods, and material properties. Portfolio demonstrating exceptional industrial design capabilities and successful product commercialization.

Advanced visual communication skills, including sketching, concept development, and presentation. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. 5+ years of industrial design experience focused on technical consumer products.

Strong understanding of product development processes, manufacturing methods, and material properties. Portfolio demonstrating exceptional industrial design capabilities and successful product commercialization.

Advanced visual communication skills, including sketching, concept development, and presentation. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. #LI-KK1 Pay Range: Annual Salary: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
