Work Environment
- Work in both refrigerated and ambient warehouse environments, with temperatures ranging from -20°F to 100°F depending on the area.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Flexible to support overtime, on-call, or weekend work as needed.
- Comfortable working around industrial equipment and varying noise levels.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial ammonia refrigeration systems, ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably.
- Troubleshoot and maintain compressors, pumps, valves, evaporators, condensers, and other refrigeration equipment.
- Maintain and repair electrical systems, motors, controls, and production equipment.
- Perform general facility maintenance, including plumbing, mechanical systems, and building repairs.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Complete preventative maintenance schedules and document work in our CMMS system.
- Communicate equipment issues and recommend improvements to help minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety, PSM, and company procedures while working around ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Partner with contractors and vendors when needed to support maintenance projects.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, food production, warehouse, or similar environments.
- 1-2 years of industrial ammonia refrigeration experience (or equivalent trade school training).
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Basic electrical knowledge and the ability to read equipment diagrams (P&IDs are a plus).
- Experience using a CMMS for work orders and preventative maintenance is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- RETA Operator I, CARO, or equivalent certification (or willingness to obtain within the first six months).
- Experience working in food production, cold storage, or refrigerated warehouse environments.
