Line Cook II

- Assists in preparing contract meals in accordance with the daily/weekly menus needs and requirements.

- Assist the chef with training a small group of individuals to become food service workers.

- Keeps food and beverage service supplies operating efficiently by enforcing adherence to operating instructions.

- Prepare and cook all menu items as required while complying with Arc Broward policies on quality, quantity, sanitation, and portion control.

- Help maintain the kitchen and food storage areas in an efficient, clean, and organized manner.

- Assist in catering functions in preparation, setup, and delivery. In the chef's absence ability to prepare meals while supervising trainees and other related responsibilities.

- High School diploma or Equivalent ( can be substituted for experience )

- Minimum of one to three years' work experience in the food service industry. Assisted living facility, catering or restaurant experience is a plus.

- Must successfully complete required screening: Level II background check, physical and drug screen.

- Effective communication skills with verbal and written English fluency is required.
